Murugavel Janakiraman

Chairman & Managing Director

From launching a community site for Tamil NRIs while working in United States, Murugavel has had a long innings in matchmaking. The potential in the idea of integrating matchmaking with technology led to the launch of TamilMatrimony first and then BharatMatrimony. The fact that he found his wife Deepa, through his own matchmaking site is proof of his belief in his own products.

A graduate in Statistics from Presidency College, Chennai he earned his Masters in Computer Application from the University of Madras. His entrepreneurial success continues to win him many accolades and honours.

The Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce honoured him as one of the Top 5 Asian Indian Businessmen in the US below the age of 35.
He was also honoured by the India Today Group as the "Business Icon of the Year."
He was nominated twice by The Economic Times for the "Entrepreneur of the Year" award.
Besides being awarded Digital Entrepreneur of the Year by WAT, he was also Chairman Emeritus of the IAMAI (Internet and Mobile Association of India).
He was elected Chairman of CII - Chennai Zone for 2022-23.

She's held her current position since 2013, leading product development for BharatMatrimony, Community Matrimony and other wedding services across portals, mobile apps & sites. A gold medallist and University topper with a Master's degree in Computer Applications, Sai is passionate about building customer-centric products.

Harigovind Krishnasamy

Chief Financial Officer

Harigovind Krishnasamy is a chartered accountant and also holds the US Chartered Financial Analyst Qualification. He has over 20 years of post-qualification experience, including more than 5 years of international experience, responsible for various areas in finance, such as financial control, Business Finance, Treasury, Project Finance, and tax at Vedanta, Den Networks, and Jio Platforms Limited. Before joining the company, he was the CFO of a large edtech startup, Embibe, which is part of the Reliance Jio group of companies, for four years.

Kiran Vijayakumar

Vice President - Technology

Working across retail, telecom, enterprise computing and education Kiran has garnered 25 years of experience in product engineering. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. He earlier worked with Wipro and Cognizant.

Arjun Bhatia

Chief Marketing Officer

Arjun has 20 years of experience in the marketing space across eCommerce, Smartphones, Consumer Electronics, FMCG and Technology industries. His academic credentials include an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi and an engineering degree from Delhi College of Engineering. His previous work experience has been with global brands such as Samsung India Electronics, IBM, Motorola and ITC Limited.

Venu M Menon

Chief Human Resources Officer

Venu is an accomplished HR Leader with more than 29 years of extensive experience across Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Telecom sectors. His academic credentials include a Masters in English from St. Stephens College, Delhi University and Post Graduation in HR from Madras School of Social Work, Chennai. Previously he was Vice President and Head of HR Operations at Fortis Healthcare Limited. He has handled HR Leadership roles at Future Group and Dairy Farm International and also worked with Bharti Airtel Ltd, RPG Retail and E.I.D Parry India Ltd.
